St. John is blessed to have strong leadership through its dedicated Council, various Committees, and committed staff. All committees meet monthly, with new appointments made at the Annual Meeting held at the beginning of each year.

This is the primary governing body of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Composed of elected members from the congregation, the Council is responsible for the overall spiritual and temporal oversight of the church. Their duties include setting the church’s vision and mission, approving budgets, overseeing ministries, and ensuring the faithful stewardship of our resources. They meet monthly to discuss the life and work of the congregation, making decisions that guide our shared ministry.
The Executive Council works closely with the Lead Pastor to manage day-to-day operations and address urgent matters between regular Council sessions. Their role is to ensure efficient leadership and provide direct support to the pastoral staff in implementing the Council’s decisions.
