Dr. Joseph Henderson
FOUNDER AND SENIOR PASTOR
Dr. Joseph Henderson is founder and senior pastor of Celebrate New Life Tabernacle (CNLT) Church in Tallahassee, FL, since its inception in November of 1992. He is also founder and president of the Timothy Training and Development Center, Inc., which is the social services outreach ministry of CNLT that provides services in youth mentoring and tutoring and workforce and family development.
Dr. Henderson has earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University; a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from American Bible College; and a Master of Arts in Theology from Trinity Theological Seminary. He was conferred an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Theology at Trinity Theological Seminary with all course work completed—only dissertation remains. In addition, he was recently consecrated a bishop within the Preparation Fellowship Ministries head quartered in Houston, TX, Bishop Shelton Bady is the presiding prelate.
Furthermore, Dr. Henderson is a conference speaker who has written many Christian articles and is heard around the country weekly on the Faith Radio Network of Florida for his radio broadcast titled, “Keys to the Kingdom,” which airs on 105.7 FM (Tallahassee area); 104.5 FM (Eastpoint, FL); 91.3 FM (Lake City, FL); and 91.3 FM (Moultrie, GA). Additionally, he is also a professor at Tallahassee Christian College and Training Center in Tallahassee, FL, where he teaches the following classes: Expository Preaching, Pastoral Ministry, and Racial Motifs in Biblical Narratives.
Dr. Henderson is married to Cynthia L. Henderson, his wife and ministry partner for over 37 years. They are the proud parents of an adult daughter, Donetta Marie Henderson.
